Salam...

1. Lepas abis sekolah (primary school specifically) beli sengkuang yg ada sapu kuah merah pastu tabur kacang atas tu? (Mana nak dapat kuah tu eh?)

2. Nyanyi lagu Negaraku + lagu sekolah during assembly pada pagi Isnin (during primary) dan pagi Jumaat (during sek menengah)... I dont know, tapi everytime kena nyanyi, some of my friends buat muka monyok... ye laa bosan kot, but me and my bestfriends made a pact that we would sing dengan penuh semangat yg tinggi... bila part hi- note, takde hal nak tarik suara laaa... then we would smile to each other... we are proud to be Malaysian and students of that school...

3. perasaan menunggu hari Sabtu datang during schooldays dulu (skrang dah keja pon sama) sebab boleh kluar melepak beramai2 dgn kawan2... dan kenal ramai kawan2 from other schools? Dulu zaman saya term bohsia tu dah ada, tapi bohjan mana datang ntah? Kami suka melepak2 bercerita2, tak buat perangai tak senonoh... kira lepak kami berhemah laaa :)

4. naik/ turun bas nak pegi mana2? skrang nak hidu asap bas pon jarang!

5. malam2 kalau sambil study tu bukak radio nak dengar Pilihan Bersama, mcm excited nak record lagu2 favorite, or sibuk dok salin lirik (terlupa nak study)

6. Beli susu yg promoted thru Program Susu Sekolah atau Vitagen? Pastu kalau tak beli (sbb parents tak berapa cukup duit nak beli) bila tgk kawan2 dapat, mcm sedih/ envy?

7. Nak nyanyi kuat2 dalam bilik air, pastu perasan mcm Sheila Majid tgh nyanyi lagu Sinaran (glamer betul lagu ni time tu)... sekali tu aku kluar bilik air, arwah bapak aku sound... "Sedap suara..." Dah terbangga kejap... skali dia sambung, "Ni kalau mengaji Quran pon sama sedap jugak ni, baik mengaji, pahala pon dapat!" teeetttttt... terus termalu :")

8. Baca Majalah Kuntum, Dewan Kanak- Kanak, dan lain2 jenis majalah untuk kanak2... cuba nak masuk Peraduan Mewarna, tapi tak cantik, terus cancel nak hantar...

9. Kalau naik bas sekolah, nak duduk dekat tangga... terasa cam best! Sekali pakcik bas marah... "Masuk, masuk... karang jatuh sapa nak tanggung?" Pastu bila tpt aku dah kena amik ngan budak lelaki, pakcik tu relaks plak, tak bising pon dia? Gender inequality betul laa pakcik tu!

10. Tanya mak apa yg mak boleh prepare sbb esoknya tu ada Class Party yg akhir tahun... mak aku selalu akan bising sbb kasik tau last minute... last2 paling senang goreng fries... masa tu fries sangat susah didapati... so aku punya fries selalu jadik hit laaa.... ehehhe.. thank you, mak!

tu antara memories yg aku rindu... ada banyak lagi... korang?

p/s: To my goodfriend Z*l, sorry to hear abt your dad's passing... Semoga dia bersama orang2 yg soleh, Insya Allah... lets play our part as his child, even he's gone... doakan dia selalu...

Hammam & Gommage Spa

Saya baru balik dari pegi bersantai... di spa... hmm, seronok!
It's a Morroccon type of spa, yg mana saya dan kawan segossip sepejabat saya dah mcm nenong2 di ofis, sebenarnya on cloud 9 sbb gaji masuk harini *ngeeee*...

jadi, terus laa saya apply cuti separuh hari, dan boss approve! mak aihh, gila best! apa lagi, bergegas kami ke Bangsar Village, sbb kat situ laa pot spanya! Never been there, but it was highly recommended by a friend yg dah pernah pegi ke sana (tapi saya yg recommend dia pegi sana... aikkk? cita zig- zag betul)... tapi mmg camtu laa cerita dia pon...

so once there, kami disuruh tukar baju, pakai all those disposable thingies, and robe...
then, di suruh masuk satu bilik oleh 2 mak arabs ni... one to handle me, another one to handle my friend.. then, she asked me to take off my robe... yikes! malunya!!! the room is actually a bilik mandi... but hi grade punya bilik mandi laaa, berlantaikan papan yg cun, dan ada tiling benches...
and dia suruh duduk atas bench belah sini, my friend bench belah sana... and they bathed us! double yikesssss!!! lagi malu besar... sbb they really bathed you, mcm mak mandikan anak!!! OMG, seriously malu hokey!!! u just sat there, and tunggu jek apa instructions dia... angkat tangan, nak basuh rambut, tutup mata... things like that.. haishhh...

then, bermula laaa era scrub... mak aih.. dia pakai sarung tangan yg mcm kertas pasir, perit tak ingat! but the result was good, in the sense you punya kulit after that mcm baby's bottom, bak kata org putih... but of course laa, the price you pay was seeing all the dead's skin yg bertaburan di atas tpt scrub itu... DAKI bak kata org melayu... sampailaa kawan I tu tak percaya punya laa banyak hasilnya, sbb secara logiknya dia kata hari2 dia scrub masa mandi pakai loofah, takkan masih banyak lagi daki? hahahhaa... funny, man!

then, acara massage plak.. bukan mak arab ni buat, some Pinoys maybe, sbb I tried to speak Malay with them, but no response.. I tried English, and their English sounded pelik sikit.. maybe laa kot.. aku pon takleh nak track bangsa apa dorang ni... but the massage was quite dissapointing, tak berapa kuat... bila mintak dikuatkan pon, waktu dekat2 nak abis...
tak kuat2 dorang pon, kami punya dengkuran masa dimassage tu, agak kuat laa jugak.. kah kah kah...

so for this experience, I would rate the place as 3/5... sbb massage tu pada aku yg penting... dimandikan tu mcm takde pasni pon takpe, tak boleh aku imagine aku kena dimandikan lagi oleh strangers... dia punya deco mmg cun laa kan, ye laa, Moroccan- themed... pastu the package is a bit pricey, since org dia pon imported nun jauh dari padang pasir, lagi satu disebabkan dia duk kat tpt posh tu kan... alaa Bangsar... so harga dia nun atas sikit dari yg biasa....

Pegi laa kalau korang nak rasa something new... selamat dimandikan! (yikes...! lain macam plak bunyinya)...

I'm out of compact powder... so thot of getting a new one last Tues, but I ended up buying this... (I'm a sucker for makeups that comes in pallettes, or combination of it... senang nak bawak, takde tertinggal apa2)

Overall, I'm lovin' it! although I may say it will only last less than 3 mo for frequent user. Let this be my trial period, and if there's good results (muka aku dipenuhi NUR ke) then I'll buy bigger ones.

ok, dah boleh cerita balik pasal celebration semalam...
siangnya tu, kami banyak melepet kat rumah MIL ku... saja2 dia datang panggil makan... yeay, takyah masak

then, bila dah petang after asar, we went out... first suamiku kata nak beli kasut coz he desperately need one...
so sudah ajak aku teman... aku ikut jek laa, coz straight from there, we'll have our dinner...

dengan tidak disangka2... aku jua mendapat 'tamparan'... bukan satu... tapi DUA!

muka nak makan... dah lapar... nasib baik ada kosong, sbb org fully booked the place dah!

by this time, heroku AZA dah show some signs nak demam! kesian dia... Musim sangat ke skrg ni???

sini laa kami bersantap... sungguh berharap dapat jumpa si amy.. takde :(

Shopaholic Went Crazieeeee...

Yup, it's madness! After I've made a couple of purchases from my 'hard- earned' bonus (ye, that is to forget my ex- boss and lagipon that's for hubby and myself)... I bought another extravagant item/ gadget/ I'm-starting-a-new-hobby kinda thing...

kaching!!! seriously... I went nuts the moment I got to know someone was letting it go at cheaper price... (he's a friend of a friend, lepas beli terus add dia jadik kawan FB aku.. hahaha, Senang sikit nak call2 kalau aku ada soalan2 cepu emas...) I took this step by not telling MAM about it first, coz I know, he'll freak out on my impulse buying... (eh, impulse ke? taklah... lama aku pikir... 24 jam! lama laa tu, sejam pikir pon dah peluh2...) So, off I go, meeting the seller together with my friend who is his friend, too... dalam berpikir tak berpikir tu... aku dah set dah dalam hati "yup, I'm definitely getting this" walaupon aku tak tau apa akan terjadi selepas ini dalam episod sinetron aku dan lakiku... tapi malas nak amik pot at that time... I want it, I want it...

so when I brought back that 'thing', telling my hubby that the seller gave me the chance to try it out first before I make decision, hubby seems interested in that 'thing' (wah, GOOD sign! sbb suamiku mmg suka dgn benda2 cenggini...) but he just said that it's not necessary at the moment... tanpa prasangka, mukaku sudah ada muncung :@ I bought it already, what should I do? I can't simply return it and ask for refund... Malu ahhh dong!

Then, there was this communication session between us... I told him every reason in the world why I want this thing (read: benda ni dah dalam tangan selama seminggu lebih, and hubby asked when am I suppose to return it back?) At first, he seemed uninterested... walaupon aku dah cakap I'll claim it from company's staff benefit... he said he rather me have the cash than buying that not-so-important gadget... and of course, mestilah aku kena menang! I told him, you can't get cash money unless you claim it for something tangible/ intangible... Then he just said, "Kalau camtuh, baik beliiiii....." hahahahah, terus mataku berkaca-kaca... terasa kebahagiaan tidak diragut... yes! What I dreaded the most is not becoming a reality... thank you, B. You make my life easier (read: keadaan tetap sama kalau direject... hahaha, ye ke? *wink*wink*)

so now I'm a proud owner of... NIKON D60 (as promised, the pic is attached, bersendalkan remote astroku itu)

BTW, that's the story of yours truly yang suka membeli ini... God, come to think of it, I have lots of things to let go... I dont want to be a hoarder... maybe I'll put it up for sale/ giveaway... tengok laa camana...

Acupuncture

Salam...

Ye, aku dah try... and surprisingly tak sakit! hahaha, sapa2 yg kenal aku, mmg korang tau aku ni suka menerai (almost!) all of these 'kaedah perubatan alternatif (pls aaa, bomoh2 gua tak main!)... aku dah try bekam (yang lintah punya pon aku dah buat)... klik sini...

so haritu aku pegi homeopathy clinic @ kg. baru... nak kata sakit, tak gak... tp tu laa, kata nak try pregnant lagi kan... so I opt for homeopathy laa pulak, sbb aku ada pegi hospital biasa, jumpa O&G, the doctor precribed aku Clomid, to rangsang my brain to ovulate (or something like that)... tp dr tu dah warned aku awal2, this hormone2 punya ubat ni akan menyebabkan badan naik!!! mmg tak tipu, sapa2 perasan aku, mmg aku tgh musim 'prime' skarang ni, TEMBUN! bencik! tapi takde apa2 gak (tak pregnant laa)...

maka aku pon mencuba laa homeopathy ni, utk this cycle... selain kena makan ubat, dr. Faridah (mak aihh, pekat gila slang Kelantan dia, sib baik suamiku berketurunan Kelantan itu ada... heheheh) suggested aku buat acupuncture... so aku pon agreed... I think there were about 12 needles kot; ada yg kat kaki, perut dan kepala... tak sakit, and aku boleh tido ngan baiknya...
dan suamiku seperti biasa, pon menumpang tido di katil sebelah... ehehhehe... (tapi dia taknak buat)... seriau katanya...

the charges were RM45, not bad laa kan... aku dah budget2 beratus2 ke... hmmm, the effect after that? ntah laaa... aku ada laa rasa lenguh2 skett kat belah kaki aku (no, aku tak rasa badan aku ringan... aku tak kalah saiko)... tapi who knows, mana tau internal organs aku dah rasa semakin ok ke... ehhehe... atau semua tgh berfungsi secara optimumnya kat dalam tu :)... Wallahhualam...

so sapa2 nak try, boleh laa cuba... kalau rasa2 nak get some info on acupuncture, get it here...

Basic Cake & Cupcake Deco (Buttercream)

Last Sunday tu aku pegi class masak- memasak, yg dianjurkan oleh Kak Min from Bakingproject.com...

Ni class kedua aku laa selepas class 'Fondant Cupcake Deco' aku tu... Thanks Kak Min, I think that was super easy (bayangkan laa kalau aku yg tangan bangku ni boleh buat, korang2 yg lagi hustler dari aku, of course kacang punya!)

There was a cake that we had to decorate... dang! tiba2 terasa cantik cake yg aku buat, yg bertatahkan 3 kuntum bunga rose ok! walaupon bunga rose tu Kak Min kata banyak sangat petals-nya, I was a bit satisfied... Kak Min, I punya bunga hidup kat tpt tinggi... tu yg banyak petals... baja pon pakai yg organic... :)

And then there were 6 other cupcakes to spoil with... we did clown, swirl, colored piping gel (aku buat peace sign, but some said cam merc punya logo), grass, and the last 2 tu buat free design... maka aku pon membuat muka perempuan comel dan corak bebas... (tgk la gambar tu)...

so what do you guys think?

6 tahun yang sudah terjadi itu...

'twas my 6th anniversary yesterday... tiba2 teringat jari2 tangan dan kakiku yg merah2 dulu... iskk, memang best laa time tu, tapi kalau nak buat lagi, takmo dah aku...! teringat mlm before nak nikah tu, kejung2 jek sleeping style aku.. tak caya tanya BFF aku yg tido ngan aku mlm tu, Ch*h... dia laa yg jaga inai2 aku tu, supaya tak rosak/ cacat etc... heheheh... memang keras laa kan aku mlm tu, sib baik malam esoknya tu tido ngan suami baru... ahaks...

banyak benda yg boleh dikongsi dan tidak boleh sepanjang aku dah berlaki ni... Alhamdulillah, even ada benda yg tak patut dibanggakan pon, it really make me realize something.. that nobody can beat my hubby.. he's the greatest... (ye laaa, korang puji laa laki korang sendiri.. aku tetap nak puji laki aku gak!) aku ni banyak buat perangai, biasa laaa.. pompuan pon kan, merajuk laa, angin turun naik laa... tapi he knows well on where to tackle it... so last2 aku pon jadik cam pompuan yang lembik lutut.. kalah beb! hehhehe...

to MAM, my favorite B... tima kasih for everything... saya sayang awak... sangat2... terima kasih atas prezen itu... saya suka! and marilah kita mengembirakan tahun2 yg mendatang ini, Insya Allah...

to all... salam maal hijrah... semoga 1430 dan 2009 ini mendatangkan rahmat dan 'ong' yang berlipat- kali ganda... Aminnn...

so this new year, wish aku (aku tak berapa into azam... wish jek)... hhehehhe

2. nak beli 2-3 benda.. (malu ah nak cakap)...
3. nak pi umrah...
4. nak pi vacation ngan parents aku...
5. nak masukkan AZA kat sekolah main2.. so that he can learn to make new friends...

tu jek laa yg aku boleh terpk setakat ni... nanti from time to time, aku tau apa aku nak kot... :)

The Island of Gods

Our closing vacation for the year 2008, Bali... 5D/4N @ Bali Garden Hotel.
'twas my second time there, and the first for both MAM & AZA... so, more or less I was their informal tour-guide kehormat.. hehhehe... unpaid!

I was responsible to do the hotel booking, etc... and settled for this 3- star rating together with 2.5 days tour... first look at the hotel facade, I was like, oh no! I've made a mistake here... coz they have patungs here and there (but then again, kat Bali kan, kat mana yg takde pon???) Nevertheless, once you stepped-in, greeted by the staff (tips here and there ;) we found that it wasn't bad at all... apparently there were lots of mat/ minah salleh here and there (banyak gila ikan2 duyung yg bergelimpangan, semoga suamiku tabah sepanjang di sana, hik!) we were the minority ones...

one thing that I had problem in Bali was the food... susahnya nak masuk tekak... I dunno why, but it seemed that the tour package that we took (they provide lunch + dinner for the 2.5 days) always brought us to those restaurants that has bad cookings... dah laa aku ngan lakiku ini sangat menitikberatkan pemakanan yg pedas (plus MAM is really into masin2 punya taste)... sekali these 2 things were the main thing that they were lacking... cheh! so on those remaining days yg takde tour tu, we opted for Masakan Minang... rented a bike, and off we go to any restourant or rumah makan that seemed appealing to our eyes... tapi sampai bila pon boleh makan makanan minang yg berminyak2 tu kan? last2 pegi Wong Solo Ayam Bakar (yg ada kat area2 Ampang ni jugak)... "Baik makan kat Malaysia jek", kata lakiku... hehhehe... "Malaysia tak pandang laaa, we have Pelita, tomyam, nasik lemak what!", aku membalas semula... maka kejadian makan dengan rakusnya pon bermula...

apart from that, I love the culture.. walaupon sana sini terpasang colok, and offerings in the woven coconut leaves were everywhere... this what makes theirs unique (maybe I should be anthropologist, kan?) I love the cleanliness (my FIL experince: he flicked his cigarette butt, and right in front of his eyes, a local people picked it up, and put it in the trash can next to him... he said malu sekejap... heheheh), and the safeness of the place (they believe in karma, even how 'brutal' they looked pon, when they greeted you, they greeted with humble and polite gestures...

me: we should repeat back coming here, lots of other things to see... banyak tpt boleh gi belanja2...
MAM: sekali cukup... boleh gi tempat lain pulak...
me: alaaa, first time kita absorb as much as we can, second time datang, kita relax2, manja2 kan diri, stroll by the beach lama2, beli belah sana sini...
MAM: wahhh, awak punya type of vacation ni banyak belanja kan?
me: (tersengih kerang)...

I SUGGEST: you get yourself to Bali, go to their spa... on the last day there I managed to get myself a Balinese massage, body scrub (with beras ke hapa ntah, kulitku seperti bayi selepas itu.. hahah), and mandi bunga dalam tub yg besar... RM80 jek! Murah ok??? Nyesal aku tak pegi dari first day lagi...

@ Tanah Lot, it was raining, and high tide... so takleh ke sana... waaa, melepas lagi!!!

OK I had to admit, on my last day of the tournament, it was my off-tune day...
my throw was bad, my 'strike' didnt happen, and my spare was wayyy gone, into the darkness of the alley...
ntah laa... tak tau apsal... probably that was my 'first day'... but it didnt bother me that much as before... later I figured out maybe because God punished me of wearing white with no camisole inside... hahahah... I tried comforting myself with every reasons in the world... :)

My first 3 days (mind you, I had 4 match days... all were unrecorded leave... I know some of my collegues like **war & J*pp would kill for these!) were all awesome... chewah, perasan kejap...
ye lah, I wouldn't be the permanent bowler for all the matches... hahah... hmm, maybe I was 'on form' for those 3 days, and my 'joboness' was getting higher, that was why God punished me on the last day... *Astaghfirullah*... semuanya ada kena mengena... ;)

so in the end, my team got 6th overall... out of 8... hahhaha... sorry laaa, tried my best with my straight ball, but those 5 teams, they played 'hooked ball'... mana tak terrer! and we didnt hire a coach (out of budget allocated katanya... hmmpphh lantaklaaa)... and they have coach, cheered them all the way... oohh so jealous...

but I did have fun... with the crowd, with the team- spirit, with my progress, but not with my hotel's bathtub definitely... asyiklah bertakung air tu, after my roommate had her shower... so I ended up had my shower in the next room... tumpang bilik orang lain... hmmppphh!

Finally, beli jugak aku bola bowling tu... Ishhh... lepas asyik terbakar jek telinga aku dengan 'usikan2 manja' bowling team aku (hati punya terbakar toksah cakap laa kan)... I'm RM309 broke! Dang! Baik aku beli baju ke, kasut ke... hish!
Ni semua nak jaga imej punya pasal laa ni... Bukan aku laa, tp dorang... main pakai house ball + house shoes cukup laa kan.. janji aku maintain jatuhan pin aku... tp tak, sbb main utk tpt keja aku yg 'superior' status quonya, so kena laa jaga imej... eleehhh, imej pebenda nak jaga, kalau aku beli bola sendiri nanti, baling hancuss... baik toksah!

tgk laaa, besok aku ada training... so that'll be my first try/ get lucky with that ball... haritu try masa beli cam tak best jek baling... cuak gak! tak ke sia2 aku dah buang duit, in the end I still wanna use house ball... sbb rasa ada connection lagi ngan bola itu? boleh ke??? adakah akan terbakar telinga/ hati aku lagi??? lantak laaa...

sbb yang pentingnya... bola + kasut + bag tu aku boleh claim dari points flexi aku... heheheh...

Bed of Roses

Yesterday right after MAM picked me up @ Ampang Park (naik LRT tuh from my office) I straight away executed my plan...

Me: B, Miva yg jual furniture tu ada Grand Sale... lets go, nak?
MAM: Miva mana pulak ni?
Me: Alaa, Miva yg ada kat tepi jalan yada..yada.. yada... I just wanna see... boleh laaa...
MAM: Aikkk, kata nak balik awal, nak main dgn AZA... ni nak menyinggah pulak kat situ?
Me: Alaaa, for a while only... sekejap sangat... kita tgk laa... and I dont think we can afford to buy one at this very moment pon... cuci2 mata jek...

And yes, I rehearsed those lines since at the office lagi... Alhamdulillah, all went well... coz MAM has agreed to it... hehhehe... tak sangka, buah cempedak dah jadik nangka...
confirm laa dah beli kan... 'can't afford to buy one, konon...' that is just as same as guys doing their pickup line to girls (this is the opposite)... we definitely can afford to buy one if they permit us to make partial payment... hahahaha... plus, we dont plan to have the 'king-bed' that soon... we need to do some re-arrangement on what we have currently... so the soonest I think I can have that transported to my place is end of this year... (takde laa lama sangat kan?)

Fondant Cupcake Deco Class

I went for Cupcakes Deco last Sunday at Kak Min's Place. Thanks Kak Min for the lesson... Had good knowledge and the class was very fun- filled... The class was supposed to be only 3 hours, from 10.30am until 1.30pm... tapi kalau dah student cam aku ni 'peghak', abis pkl 2.45pm... buat semua lembab & have to be done meticulously :) hehehe, biasa laaa, taknak kalah...

We prepared 8 types of deco... Bear, baby's booties, seashells, wedding/ engagement, poured fondant, ribbon, butterfly and puzzles...

Once done, I rushed back home and get ready to hit 3 'open- houses'... Thanks to Sam, Bangau and Pak Tam for the food. I barely can walk after that tank-filling, with all the nasi beriyani, mee jawa, fried rice and countless glassess of drinks... man, put AZA down to sleep was also an easy task that nite, maybe he was so kenyang, too... :) MAM was out for the boys' game with all of his friends (Liverpool vs. Chelsea) after sending us back home...
