Farewell Tuanku Mizan

Dear Tuanku Mizan & Tuanku Zahirah...

Patik merasa sungguh bangga sepanjang berada di bawah tampuk pemerintahan tuanku sbg Agong ke 13 utk tanah tumpah patik.

Walaupon 5 tahun itu boleh dikatakan satu masa yg singkat, tetapi patik tetap merasa kagum di atas kewibawaan tuanku ber2 mentadbir Malaysia. Tuanku ber2 sememangnya ikon Malaysia, khususnya membawa imej sbg sebuah negara Islam.

Amat irihati dgn rakyat Terengganu. Mereka masih berpeluang berada di bawah naungan tuanku lagi. Daulat tuanku!

New Regime

Salam,

Saya kena berhijrah. Bukan kerja (Alhamdulillah, kerja sekarang tidak selalu 'menensikan' saya), tapi dari segi tahap kesihatan saya...

berat badan saya dah semakin naik...

selera toksah cakap laa, makin mencanak2... saya ni bukan jenis sekali makan kena banyak, moderate laaa, tp nak kena selalu makan... kalau moderate + selalu = NAIK!

Insya Allah, dalam masa terdekat, saya akan memulakan tugasan penting...

membina semula keyakinan diri.

let see kalau saya berjaya buat mcm dia, as dia motivate diri dia dgn membeli 3 pasang seluar Levi's - 3 size down...

hari2 cuba, lama2 boleh!

saya? well, I want more AZAs... so this is antara caranya... kena kuruskan badan.

Alhamdulillah, AZA my hero can now read a book (with big fonts). I started to train him by first introducing him to letters - not only let him recognizes the alphabets, but the sound that it makes as well... good to know, he memorizes and later got the concept when I just asked him to combine the sound they produce when more than 1 letter combined...

Back then it was funny when I saw expressions he made to make the letter sound... Imagine letter 'R', like lion's roar, or something like that... kelakar betul kalau dia nak menunjukkan singa tu garang...

Then, with the help of a set of books- Malay and English... siri Cepat Baca for Malay and I Can Read for English... seriously sangat membantu! I seriously recommend these books to every parents who wants to teach their kids on how to read...

Some parents question why should they expose their kids to reading when they are <5yrs... banyak yg cakap taknak pressure anak2, because what they should do is just play, sleep, eat, or something like that...

Well, I have no objection on that... tapi what I was doing when I first introduced alphabets, reading to AZA, I thought... "takpe laaa, sikit2 jek, no pressure... kalau dia taknak, then let him have his own space"... but I do it mostly everyday... Alhamdulillah, AZA was very interested, especially when he got the answers to all the pop quizzes yg I tanya masa dalam kereta, kami main2 game "I Spy..." Now he can read at 4yo 2mo last June... Now, what he continuously doing is to spell everything (yg kadang2 pon ada tunggang terbalik)... :)

He also recognizes all the Arabic letters now (belajar dgn Nenek Zah dia)... tapi semenjak masuk sek baru ni dia dah berenti mengaji... haritu dia tahu baca tanda2 tu sikit... (nak kena carik buku mengaji pulak)... Insya Allah I want him to be good both akhirat & duniawi, aminnn...

Oh yaa... he no longer attends Tadika Seri Intan... the teachers and the van driver were so sad when I told them that AZA is attending a new kindy + nursery near to my office (in fact the place is managed by my office)... they said AZA is a nice boy and a good student...

On behalf of AZA and the family, I thank you all the educators in TSI, for once have imprinted

a good mark throughout his journey to become a good Allah's servant.

Ramadhan Kareem

Alhamdulillah, we are given another chance to experience Ramadhan and of course, to improve ourselves. Hopefully it will be something permanent, all the good deeds and the increased value of the iman... Insya Allah...

so all friends observing this holy month, lets make this one a fulfilling one, we never know we will have the same chance, of another Ramadhan...

I can't help but to write this...

I know I have to be forgiving somehow, a sister must act the way a sister should be...

but I can't help it. I tried...

In respect of Ramadhan, I do not plan to have this sour feeling and infect people surround me, and I hope the same thing happen in return.

But something had happened. On last Friday, marked the second year of my dad's passing. My mom decided to organize a 'kenduri tahlil' the nite before at the surau next to her place. At the same time, there was a big football match, much awaited match; M'sia vs S'pore...

I had to sacrifice, not going to the match... No! it was not even a sacrifice. When the kenduri was for my arwah bapak, one could not top the priority. End of story. There is no second thot of either you should go to the match, or make yourself available for the kenduri.

But the king and the queen of the house were not around. Can you guess where were they? At the STADIUM! Having the blast of their lives!!! My mom told me that the king had to work that nite, since he was working with this one football association, so ok, understood.

But can you get it when the queen told my mom that she was going out, to the stadium? Well, she is not working with that assoc, and she wasn't even needed at the stadium as volunteer or whatever... she had to be at home, or the surau to recite doa for his FIL...

I know she never had any opportunity to know my arwah bapak, but still...!

show some respect and empathy to us, esp my mom... when you are still living under her roof, and you could still do that... uurgghhhhh!

whatever it is, I put the blame on the king... for not enforcing the queen! you know you should tell her to be present when you could not be around... urggghh! some people are so thick- skinned!

and the next day, that Fri nite... our family went to 'meminang' for my youngest brother. Guess who wasn't around, for the reason that he was tired and just got back from work?

BINGO! You got that right!

Did he care to send his queen as his rep?

BINGO! You got that right, too!

Loss of a Friend

Tgh hari tadi aku dpt satu text msg, katanya dia husband pada arwah isteri dia yg dah meninggal minggu leaps. Sbb aku dah tukar phone, nombor org pon banyak aku x save, so aku pulak mcm x tau siapakah isterinya itu...

Maghrib ni baru dapat jawapan... Kawan aku masa kami hantar anak2 pegi Alimkids Playgroup... Sedihnya... Semoga Allah menempatkan arwah Kak Noraini bersama para anbia' Insya Allah

Father's Day Celeb: Dinner @ Ben's KLCC

Salam...

We are now at Ben's, KLCC... makan2 utk Hari Bapa, just the 3 of us.

The location was once used to be California Pizza Kitchen (CPK), now the ambience has changed, more relaxing, jazz musics are played... And the food, not bad I would say...

The father ordered Duck Confit Spaghetini, the father's son ordered chicken and mushroom pie, while the father's wife (that's me!) ordered Soft-shelled Crab Spaghetini. I love mine, truly recommended, and the price is of course, KLCC- priced... Oklah, boleh direpeat bila gaji masuk :)

To MAM, you are one truly great daddy to our son. May our love and the dedication to be great parents are blessed by Allah SWT. I love you with all my heart... Happy father's day to my arwah bapak... And of course, my FIL, too... love you!

New Class at Blubricks. Ampang

Mommy and Daddy are registering me for new speech and drama class next week. Today I went to their trial class, i had so much fun...

I was shy at first, but after few hops, crawling and exchange short stories, mom and dad are determined to sign me up...

Total Eclipse of The Moon

Salam.

Last nite I witnessed one of Allah's greatest signs. The moon or lunar eclipse. It was an impromptu plan with en. MAM. Heard from a radio station that there'll be lots of activities in conjunction with this event at Masjid Negara.

So we made a move at 2am as the solat sunat would start at 3am. Once arrived, registered ourselves, and made way to few big telescopes to have a closer look at the moon. Subhanallah. Maybe I don't know how to appreciate those solar system's wonders as those astronomists, but I truly digested the beauty as one regular 'masyarakat biasa'...

Pengantin Baru

Salam...

Banyak masa yg terbuang, tapi tak di update jugak blog ni. Roz malas... Memang!

Adik ipar I dah selamat jadi isteri orang. Alhamdullillah, semua smooth. Cumanya, masa malam berinai, ghazal kena diberentikan, sbb DBKL call kata dpt complaints dari jiran2. Bosan tau kalau buat majlis kawin di area2 'mat saleh' ni... Nyampah!
Yg lain2, semua ikut skrip. Bagus, x sia2 buat family meeting sampai pkl 2-3 pagi...

I x banyak amik gambar, jadik AJK laa katakan. Yg mana I sempat snap jek laa ye.

Masa nikah ni...

Acara nikah dah abis... Kami amik tpt posing wajib.

Anak I yg nak tgk baju keturunan dia dari dekat... Teka baju apa? Ni masa majlis berinai besar...

I lupa laa nak amik gambar masa dia punya reception. Cantik betul dress dia. Sangat dipuji dan terpuji... Congrats Na & Adrian.

I'm so sorry...

Salam...

Just a quick updates. A very close person to me has ended one of her major phase in life. A very sad ending when from small we were told fairy tales do exist. All she hoped was there would always be a happy ending in a marriage.

Sadly, the wound is more unbearable when it involves little people. How can u look right in their eyes and tell them mama n papa are no longer together like before. Would they understand why? Would they care? Ntah laaa, Allah knows best...

To you my dear, be strong. As I always tell you, everything happens for a reason. Maybe this is an indication that we are getting closer to him, who knows? Don't forget, always be faithful to Allah, and we'll be rewarded. I love you, my dear!

I miss my arwah bapak. Mmg nampak hensem dgn cara pemakaian samping yg askar2 pakai. And of course, he was one proud askar melayu dulu.

Just a question, which of these would u go after?



Mine definitely the 'smaller' brand. It has captured attention since the day I started familiarize myself with designer coffee brand. Lots of memories are built around the brand :chewah: Asal awal bulan dapat duit Mara, we'd spent some buying their ice-blended... The players were always me, U*a, Ch*h and So*d...

Oh yeah, another thing is that, bigger brand supports that regime (saya baru ada kesedaran, maafkan saya)... Will try my best not to be the supporter.

On other note, Insya Allah Ahad ni saya akan attend ini seminar. For those who hasn't plan anything, let's see each other this Sunday.

AZA just got his results for mid- term test. He's only 4, i know. But there's never too early nor too late for education. When I first sent him to school, some ppl questioned us on the decision. You know best when it involves your kids, Insya Allah...

AZA, thanks for this. We hope you are having so much fun at school, ergo the results... Let's try our best to keep this; Mommy & Daddy continue spending time to make learning fun @ home, and you to know gaining knowledge is fun too! I love sayang!

I start school today, mommy and daddy enrolled me in a kindy close to my house...

After few places that they thought of sending me to, they settled for this school.

They were sure to send me to a different school at first, but it was full school house, but mommy promised me to go to that school next year, Insya Allah...
