3 Hours Q for 10 Burgers?

Salam...

I just have to blog on this...

One, for it was a hell of experience.

Two, I bought as much burgers as I can afford with the money that I had that time.

Three, my husband has stated that the next time I give that idea, he'll become mad, smoke coming out of his nostrils (I made up that part... yeaaa)

here's the chronology of what had happened:

Friday nite : 16 Mar 2012 : 11.30pm

Went to Burger Bakar Kaw- Kaw in Wangsa Maju, Sek.2 together with En. Suami, AZA, SIL and her husband. Got the idea after reading few blogs that mostly gave good feedback of the place. Stated that we had to queue for ordering the burger. So best idea, be there when it was almost midnite because business hours is from 7.45pm - 2.00 am. Pandai kan?

Tak jugak...! Reached there and were told, finito! The seller said we were late, usually order finished by 10pm... alamak! But we could see lots of ppl were still waiting. Hmmm...

Went home with keroncong tummy... tsk tsk.

Saturday nite : 17 Mar 2012 : 8.00pm

Gave the same idea to En. Suami after we had lunch @ Mohd Chan Abdullah in Wangsa Maju (mom's treat). Told him to just stayed within WM neighborhood so that we could hit the burger stall again. He agreed, with condition. Must belanja 'my boys' movie, any movie @ Wangsa Walk... but of course must be suitable for the 'mini-him'... we settled for 'Seefood'... (this time, mak have left with AJ to Cik's hse)...

Movie's done, performed maghrib... yada, yada, yada... reached the place again at 8.25pm, and started queuing at 8.30pm sharp! AZA was chatty that nite, I think those people in line in front and at the back of us were amused with his topics... Lots of Q&A between the 3 of us just to take our minds off from thinking there are still long way to go to place order...

9.30pm: Our turn has arrived! With the price of RM7.50 for a 'Happiness' type of burger (trust me, this is the lowest range of their prices) and knowing that I had RM100 in my purse, I just placed 10pcs of Happiness burger. Total damage: RM75.00 and my turn was #99, currently servicing #52.

Then, next was? Waiting... again for the order to be ready... We decided to lepak at the nearest 'mamak'... and yes, that mamak was affected by this craze, too... Saw lots of familiar faces, those in front of me during queuing time moment ago.

Cut story short, our order was ready at 11.30pm. Was I glad that I ordered 10pcs? heaven yes!

I didnt plan to have it all by ourselves when first ordered... but we shared it with the rest of the family too...

To save them from going thru what we have been thru... Yes, like the modern malay saying,

"Sekali kena cukup laaaa..."

The pain: Abt this long I started queuing. The stall? U see that yellow- colored signage shop? It's opposite that shop.

Just a question, which of these would u go after?



Mine definitely the 'smaller' brand. It has captured attention since the day I started familiarize myself with designer coffee brand. Lots of memories are built around the brand :chewah: Asal awal bulan dapat duit Mara, we'd spent some buying their ice-blended... The players were always me, U*a, Ch*h and So*d...

Oh yeah, another thing is that, bigger brand supports that regime (saya baru ada kesedaran, maafkan saya)... Will try my best not to be the supporter.

On other note, Insya Allah Ahad ni saya akan attend ini seminar. For those who hasn't plan anything, let's see each other this Sunday.

What makes me choose this new toy to replace the previous one? Coz they nicknamed this phone 'Iphone-3G-Killer' (sbb aku suka Iphone aku yg 2G tu, so kalau dah 3G pon dah ada pembunuhnya, apatah lagi version 'otai' aku tuh!)... read this to know further...

Men In Tutus

Salam...

Me and suamiku went to watch this performance yesterday... 'twas superb! Loved it... I'm not a big fan of ballet myself, prolly the thought of my incapability doing those spins, twirls, stand-on-your-toes (which are almost impossible kot)... hehehhe... but this show was something different... maybe they injected humor in it...

I was kinda afraid to bring MAM along at first, since I know he doesnt fancy ballet either... esp seeing men in tutus (memula tu nampak macam drag show!) But he liked it sebab funny and yeah... 'twas my treat :) (happy 13th anniversary, B...) bukan kawin, declare dulu2...

For me it was damn funny ok! Imagine those dancers are well- built (body ketul2), but they danced ballet like they have been doing that all their lives... so graceful together with the storyline from famous tales eg The Dying Swan and The Swan Lake, also they did Duet (famous ballet performance yg ada laki menari dgn perempuan tu)... and the funny part mostly came from the way they wanna potray that they are guys... TAK SHAVE BULU KETIAK, ok!!!!

overall I give them 4 out of 5... best!

Went to watch that musical theater last Friday... Kudos to Erma Fatima for the effort! Enlightening...

I would recommend you to go and watch the performance, to always remember the sacrifices done by our beloved Rasullulah pbuh... May Allah rewards us with strengtened iman...

Hari Jumaatku 13.02.09 (Geng Pengembaraan Bermula- Upin & Ipin)

Salam...

Balik jek from ofis, aku terus ajak suamiku tgk wayang... pasal aku cam ada bosan sket nak balik rumah, ditambah pulak macam terasa nak melayan 'my jubilant' tu.. so we decided to watch Upin & Ipin The Movie...

Keseluruhannya, utk satu production yg not that big yet, aku salute... cerita mmg entertaining, lawak2 dia boleh diterima (taklaa bodo, dan tak laa trying too hard)...

Kitorang enjoy... tapi yg kelakarnya, plan nak tgk yg 8.30pm punya, pegi2 beratur, tgk tinggal depan2 jek... sakit laa tengkuk nanti... next show was at 10.30pm, tanpa berpikir panjang kami pon beli, and got the best seats for the 3 of us... since tak dapat tgk that 8.30 pm punya show, terus aku ajak MAM pi makan char kuay teow kat taman bunga raya, setapak... (sbb masa amik AZA tu ternampak satu cita pasal tpt2 makan best kat KL ni, yg salah sorang contestant raja lawak 2 tu host ngan farouk hussein... dorang cita psl tpt ni laa, and aku dah penah pegi dulu -Si S*ed yg introducekan)

sampai jek... mak aihhh panjang gila org beratur, dan sesungguhnya sure tak sempat kalau nak tgk wayang pasni.. maka kami pon amik keputusan makan nasik lemak jek laaa... pon panjang, tapi tak sepanjang CKT tu... hish, frust tak dapat makan...

Puteri Gunung Ledang Season III

Salam...

Last Fri aku + MAM pegi tgk PGL... so dengan penuh semangat juang tinggi (time ni darah Hang Tuah + Tun Teja aku tgh memuncak) dan penuh berkobar2, kami pon pegi... all this while org banyak cakap best gila, gempak... so aku pon wanna be one of them laa konon2nya... pastu dapat pulak tiket free 2, B*M kasik... sempena 50 tahun, so semua staff dapat laaa kan...

hmmm, pegi2, dan sampai right on time, 8.25pm to be exact! sbb katanya start pkl 8.30pm... belakang pukul 9pm! iskk, siapa laa VVIP(s) punya angkara laa tu... nak jek aku ngutuk! tapi sbb masa tu dah pasang mood nak layan... so aku boh kan ajek!

maka cerita pon bermula... opening sangat menarik! yada...yada... yada... sampai laa part Hang Tuah keluar... nyanyi mmg power gila si stephen rahman tu... tapi bila dia cakap... mmg laa aku boleh bg kredit kat dia di atas kesungguhan dia pabila mengenangkan dia melayu celup... tapi alangkah akan kurangnya cacat cela itu, pabila ianya seorang melayu tulen yg memegang watak hero terakhir melayu itu! sbb kadang2 korang akan terdengar bunyik2 ala- ala "my secha-wen" dia tu... other than that, he's awesome!

pastu aku paling suka part adlin, si sultan mahmud gila kuasa itu menari gatal sbb dia nak kawin ngan Gusti Putri Raden Adjeng Retno Dumilah... yup! secara mengejutnya, mamat tu boleh nyanyi, menari light2, sambil membuat muka gatal... hahaha, funny as heck!
dan of course laaa, suamiku yang sporting itu amat suka dgn "AC di mana??? AC Disini..." sebagai Gusti Adipati Handaya Ningrat... si AC tu siap buat tarian rappers dia masa semua2 pelakon menundukkan diri berterima kasih kepada kami.... suamiku harus laa memberi standing ovation kan? (aku pon sekali... ehehhee)...

tapi ending dia tak berapa best... mcm slow ajek... aku budget dorang nak buat ending yg ada impact skett... cam yang jenis kau akan kata "Alamak, dah abissss? perrghhhh! syahdu... best! best!", tapi sayangnya tidak... ending dia biasa2 jek...
kesimpulannya, not so bad laa.. boleh laa kata best... aku kasik 3.5 bintang laaa... ke lebih aaa? ok laa.. 4 bintang... ok laa tu.. not bad laa utk aku yg tak pandai kritik menda2 seni ni.. hehehhe

ni jek laa aku dapat... curtain call...

dah abissss... boleh balik!
